This vehicle was used in the Sandhills for many years following miles of fence lines corralling livestock and buffalo. Over the years, deep winter snows led to the addition of lifted suspension to accommodate 37″ flotation tires. All-original drivetrain with the 318 two-barrel engine, 3-speed ultra granny low-geared through an NP201 transfer case. The truck displays 33,xxx original miles and drives like it. It runs like a Swiss watch. Purchased from second owner and never driven in the city.
Just went through a fresh tune-up include fluid change, new carb, and power-bled fuel pump, clutch and master cylinders. Gas tank was removed and cleaned and shows no sediment or rust particles.
Body is clean and displays some bruises, but very worthy for the age. Underneath is solid and only small areas of rust are on the floorboards (replacements included with purchase). All glass is near perfect and emblem hardware complete with no damage. Home built bumpers with Cyclops 11” light and cattle guard enable this truck to move the stubborn creatures or pull most anything from the ditches or culverts when granny low is engaged. 4×4 works flawlessly!
Electrical functions well, bull horn added and blinkers were reworked due to a corroded wire. No radio but 24-channel CB to call Jerry Reed or Burt Reynolds.
Only the buyer that appreciates patina and true grit of the 60’s should purchase this original Power Wagon named Cyclops!
